Q & A

Allow Me to Be of Service

Do you offer free consultations?

Yes! I offer a free consultation where we discuss your needs.  This can be over the phone or in your space.

How much do you charge?

My hourly rates are equitably priced in the range of other equally experienced Professional Organizers in the Washington, DC area. It is difficult to quote prices without knowing unique needs in advance. Please contact me to discuss your particular needs and budget.

What payment methods do you accept?

Personal checks, PayPal and Venmo are accepted.  Payment is due at the end of each session.

Are you licensed and insured?

I hold a business license in Falls Church, VA. It is my goal to take the utmost care of your possessions. I hold liability insurance to protect us both in the case of accidental damage to your property.

What hours are you available?

I generally work between 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Weekend hours are occasionally available.

How many hours per day will we work?

I prefer to work in 4-hour blocks of time. We can set a schedule that works well for you and your energy level. If you are motivated, I can also leave homework for you to work on after I leave.

Who do you work with?

I work with everyone from overwhelmed parents, seniors downsizing, empty nesters planning a move, busy professionals, people now working from home and anyone generally feeling overwhelmed.

Do I need to be there to help with organizing?

In order to get the most out of my help, it is best that you are there. By working with me hands-on while sorting, purging and organizing, I am able to transfer the needed skills to you, allowing for continued organization of your space after we are finished.

Are you going to make me get rid of things that I love?

No, I don't make you get rid of anything. We will work together to establish priorities and goals and it's my job to help you stay committed to those as you make decisions.
